Cabot Corporation CEO Sean Keohane Signs the CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion™ Pledge
By signing onto the commitment,
“Diversity and inclusion have long been an integral part of our values here at Cabot, and I am proud to continue our commitment by joining the other signatories in this pledge to further D&I throughout our organization as well as influence those we work and partner with,” said Keohane. “Signing this pledge is just one example of how we are working to not only cultivate an inclusive environment where diverse experiences and perspectives are valued, but to also increase awareness around important diversity topics. By expanding our focus on D&I, we are helping to build a more positive, innovative and creative environment -which leads not only to superior employee satisfaction, but to greater business success.”
CEO Action was launched in 2017 and brings together America’s leading organizations to share best practices and discuss progress on key steps included in the commitment. Cabot represents one of 21 companies in the chemical industry to sign the pledge. Cabot is already making strides against actions outlined in the CEO Action to further diversity and inclusion, including developing a global D&I Steering Committee; hiring its first director of D&I delivering unconscious bias in the workplace training for executives and senior leadership; and actively developing a global D&I strategy and roadmap.
