Cabot Corporation to Increase Prices Globally for all CAB-O-SIL® and CAB-O-SPERSE® Products
BOSTON – Aug. 16, 2021 – Effective for all shipments on or after September 15, 2021, or as contracts allow, Cabot Corporation will raise prices globally for all CAB-O-SIL® fumed and colloidal silicas, and CAB-O-SPERSE® aqueous dispersions products. Prices will be increased up to 10 percent, depending on the product grade.
The price increase is necessary to address rising costs associated with transportation, raw materials and operations across regions.
The increase will help ensure that Cabot remains a reliable, long-term supplier of high-quality products and services. Furthermore, the price increase will enable Cabot to continue to invest in the development of new products and applications to support its customers.
