Cabot Corporation Elects New Officers
BOSTON, March 22, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Cabot Corporation (NYSE: CBT) recently announced the election of two new Vice Presidents: Douglas A. Church and Peter M. Hunt.

Mr. Church has served as Regional General Manager, North America, since 2003. He has held several senior positions in the Information Technology group, including Director of Information Technology, North America/Asia Pacific region. He joined Cabot in 1992. Prior to joining Cabot, Mr. Church worked for divisions of Electrolux and Schlumberger. He holds a B.S. degree from The Citadel, in Charleston, South Carolina.
Mr. Hunt has served as Director of Tax since 2000. He has held several senior positions in the Tax function, including Manager of Tax Planning and Senior Tax Counsel. He joined Cabot's Finance group in 1980. Before coming to Cabot, Mr. Hunt worked for Arthur Andersen & Co. He is a CPA and holds a J.D., an LL.M. in Taxation and a B.S. from Boston University in Massachusetts.
