BOSTON – Effective September 1, 2018, or as contracts allow, Cabot Corporation will increase prices up to 10 percent globally for specialty carbon products. This price increase is required due to escalating costs associated with logistics, raw materials, environmental compliance and capital improvements.
The increase will help ensure that Cabot remains a reliable, long-term supplier of high quality products and services. It will also enable continued investment in the development of new products and applications to support customers.
